UPSC CDS I Recruitment 2026 : Eligibility Criteria

• Indian Military Academy (IMA) & Officers’ Training Academy (OTA), Chennai
  Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or an equivalent qualification.
• Indian Naval Academy (INA)
  Applicants should hold a Degree in Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.
• Air Force Academy (AFA)
  Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level, or a Bachelor of Engineering (BE/B.Tech) degree.
• Graduation Certificate Requirement
  Candidates who choose Army, Navy, or Air Force as their first preference must produce their Graduation or Provisional Certificate at the time of the SSB Interview.
• Final Year Candidates
  Students studying in the final year or final semester of their degree course are eligible to apply, provided they pass the final examination before selection.

How to Fill UPSC CDS I Online Form 2026

• Visit the official UPSC website and read the CDS I Examination 2026 notification carefully before applying.
  Online application dates are 10 December 2025 to 30 December 2025.
• Keep all required documents ready, such as educational details, ID proof, address details, and basic personal information.
• Prepare scanned copies of photograph, signature, thumb impression, and other required documents in the prescribed format.
• Fill out the online application form carefully and check the preview of all entered details before final submission.
• Pay the application fee (if applicable). Without fee payment, the application will not be considered complete.
• After successful submission, download and take a printout of the final application form for future reference.
