The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) will soon release the online counselling and choice filling schedule for Bihar Diploma DECE-LE 2025 on its official website bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. This counselling is conducted for Lateral Entry (LE) admission into the second year of Diploma-level Engineering courses in Bihar. The application process began on 20 March 2025 and ended on 15 April 2025, with the fee payment last date being 16 April 2025. The online editing of the application form was allowed from 18 to 19 April 2025, and the entrance exam was initially scheduled for 11 May 2025 but later rescheduled to 15 June 2025. The admit card was released on 06 June 2025, and the rank card became available on 03 July 2025. The counselling and choice filling process is expected to begin in the third or fourth week of July 2025, and candidates are advised to regularly visit the official website for updates on counselling dates, choice filling, seat allotment, and document verification.

Bihar Diploma DECE-LE 2025 : Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Passed Intermediate (12th) Science with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects, along with either Mathematics or Biology.
  • Passed Intermediate (12th) Science with Mathematics as a subject.
  • Passed Intermediate (12th) Science with a Vocational or Technical subject.
  • Passed 10th with ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certificate.

Selection Process

  • Entrance Exam – Appear in the DECE-LE 2025 exam conducted by BCECEB.
  • Merit List – Based on marks obtained in the entrance exam.
  • Online Counselling – Register, fill choices of colleges and branches.
  • Seat Allotment – As per rank, choices, and seat availability.
  • Document Verification & Admission – Report to the allotted college with documents and pay the admission fee.
