Assam Rifles Sports Quota Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Applicants must have passed Matriculation (10th grade) from a recognized board.
• Additionally, candidates should be sportspersons who have participated in any of the following:
• International competition
• National competitions
• Inter-University tournaments
• National-level school games
• National Physical Efficiency Campaign

Physical Standards

1. Height:

• Male: 170 cm
• Female: 157 cm
• Chest (Male only): 80–85 cm

2. Endurance Test:

• Male: 5 km race within 24 minutes
• Female: 800 meters within 4 min

Selection Process

• Physical Standard Test (PST) – Height, chest & weight check.
• Sports Trials – Game performance & skills test.
• Document Verification – Certificates & eligibility check.
• Medical Examination – Fitness as per Assam Rifles norms.
• Final Merit List – Based on sports performance + PST + medical.
